Senior Toll Collection Attendant

About the Role:

The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks a full-time Senior Toll Collection Attendant to perform intermediate semi-skilled and clerical work collecting tolls on an assigned tour of duty, while ensuring a smooth and orderly flow of traffic.  This position provides coverage for absent Toll Collection Attendants and the Toll Supervisors I, regardless of shift, on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in handling cash, filling out forms, recording data, supervising and motivating employees, excellent oral communication skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public,  OR equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.  One (1) year in toll collection is strongly preferred.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent, valid VA driver’s license.  Employment is contingent upon acceptable background and reference checks, and passing pre-employment drug screen.
