Traffic Advisory: Nightly Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)

Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces lane closures on multiple dates on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue for construction.

The closures will occur on:

• 6 p.m., Thursday, March 12 to 4 a.m., Friday, March 13

Left and right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• 7 p.m., Thursday, March 12 to 4 a.m., Friday, March 13

Left and right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
