Traffic Advisory: Overnight Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)

Traffic control signs will be in place.

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces overnight lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) for construction.

The closures will occur as follows:

• Tuesday, August 4, 9 p.m. to Wednesday, August 5, 5 a.m.

Triple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

• Wednesday, August 5, 9 p.m. to Thursday, August 6, 5 a.m.

Quadruple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

• Thursday, August 6, 9 p.m. to Friday, August 7, 5 a.m.

Triple left-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
