About the Role: The Accounting Technician provides critical support through analysis, research and reconcilement to include: processing daily financials, funding, and operations reports from the collection vendor; reconciling payments received, adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, insufficient payments, account funding, and DMV payments made on behalf of the Authority; reconciling traffic and revenue data, and other accounting functions in connection with financial operations.
Maintaining regular, reliable on-site presence as part of a hybrid work schedule is an essential function of this position.
Education and Experience Required: Associate’s Degree in accounting, business or related field; two years of related experience in maintaining financial accounts, preparing and updating reports using multiple software programs, proficiency in automated accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, demonstrated ability to accurately prepare financial documents, perform research and analyze date, OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
