Traffic Advisory: Overnight Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)

Traffic control signs will be in place.

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces overnight lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) for construction.

The closures will occur as follows:

• Tuesday, July 28, 9 p.m. to Wednesday, July 29, 5 a.m.

Triple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

• Wednesday, July 29, 9 p.m. to Thursday, July 30, 5 a.m.

Quadruple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

• Thursday, July 30, 9 p.m. to Friday, July 31, 5 a.m.

Triple left-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
