Traffic control signs will be in place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces multiple, alternating lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue for construction.

The closures will occur on:

• Monday, September 14, 9 p.m. to Tuesday, September 15, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• Tuesday, September 15, 9 p.m. to Wednesday, September 16, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• Wednesday, September 16, 9 p.m. to Thursday, September 17, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• Thursday, September 17, 9 p.m. to Friday, September 18, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
