Traffic Advisory: Additional Triple Lane Closure on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)

Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces an additional triple-lane closure on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue to support construction for the upcoming transition to all-electronic tolling.

The closure will occur on:

• Thursday, February 12 to Friday, February 13
  Thursday 6 p.m. to Friday 4 a.m.
  Alternating, triple lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
