Traffic Advisory: Double Right Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) Northbound

Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces double right lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue. Motorists using the Forest Hill Avenue on-ramp to northbound Powhite Parkway should expect delays merging onto the Parkway.

The double right lane closures will occur on:

Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30, 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. to accommodate construction related to the upcoming transition to all-electronic tolling.

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
