Traffic Advisory: Multiple, Alternating Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) Southbound

Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces multiple, alternating lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue.

The alternating lane closures will occur on:

Thursday January 22, 6:00 a.m. to Friday, January 23 5:00 p.m. to accommodate construction related to the upcoming transition to all-electronic tolling.

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
