Traffic Advisory: Multiple, Alternating Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)

Traffic control signs will be in place.

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces multiple, alternating lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound and southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue for construction.

The closures will occur on:

• Tuesday, September 8, 9 p.m. to Wednesday, September 9, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• Wednesday, September 9, 9 p.m. to Thursday, September 10, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

• Thursday, September 10, 9 p.m. to Friday, September 11, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

• Friday, September 11, 9 p.m. to Saturday, September 12, 5 a.m.

Multiple, alternating lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
