Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces nightly triple left-lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue for construction.

The closures will occur on:

Tuesday, June 23, 9 p.m. to Wednesday, June 24, 6 a.m.

Triple left-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

Wednesday, June 24, 9 p.m. to Thursday, June 25, 6 a.m.

Triple left-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
