Traffic Advisory: Triple-Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76)
Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces triple-lane closures on multiple dates on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) to support construction for the upcoming transition to all-electronic tolling.

The closures will occur on:

Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6
6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Triple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound

Saturday, February 7
6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Triple right-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

Sunday, February 8
6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Triple left-lane closures on Powhite Parkway (VA 76) northbound

Motorists are reminded to pay attention to detour signage in the area and to exercise caution while traveling near the work zone. This work will be weather permitting.
