Traffic Advisory Update: Cancellation of Scheduled Lane Closures on Powhite Parkway Southbound – Friday, January 23

Traffic Control Signs Will Be in Place

Richmond, VA – The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces the cancellation of scheduled multiple, alternating lane closures on the Powhite Parkway (VA 76) southbound between the James River Bridge and Forest Hill Avenue.

The alternating lane closures had been scheduled to continue through Friday, January 23, at 5:00 p.m.; however, the work has been completed ahead of schedule. This construction is part of RMTA’s work for the upcoming transition to all-electronic tolling.
